Most calls to a clinic aren't to book: they're to move or cancel. Every one of those calls interrupts somebody who is treating a patient.
With ClaudIA the patient sorts it out by writing. And there's one rule that never bends: ClaudIA **never** says an appointment is confirmed, moved or cancelled unless the system has genuinely saved it. If the time has just been taken, it says so and offers another.
How it works
- Booking, moving and cancelling all happen in the conversation, with no phone calls.
- Moving an appointment keeps the same booking: it isn't cancelled and recreated, so it can never clash with itself.
- ClaudIA checks the patient's appointments before touching anything, and if they have several it asks which one.
- No confirmations from memory: dates and times always come from the system at that moment.
A last-minute change
A patient writes at 7:50 saying she won't make her 9:00 appointment. ClaudIA finds her appointment, offers the free times that afternoon and moves it. The 9:00 slot is freed and offered to the waiting list.
