It gives the first available appointment to whoever arrives in pain

When somebody writes in pain, two things must not fail: that they're seen as soon as possible, and that nobody says a word to them about their case. ClaudIA does the first and is forbidden from the second.

When it spots that the patient mentions pain, swelling, a knock or bleeding, ClaudIA changes gear: one sentence of empathy, then it looks for the first appointment available that day and alerts your team with the reason exactly as the patient described it. If they describe something anyone would consider a serious emergency, it tells them to go to an emergency service — without offering an opinion on their case.

This is prioritising, not clinical assessment. ClaudIA sorts and orders; the dentist decides.

How it works

  1. ClaudIA recognises the urgency from what the patient says themselves, without asking for clinical detail.
  2. It looks for the first available appointment today; if there's none today, the nearest one.
  3. It alerts your team immediately (an alert in the dashboard and, if you set it up, a message to the clinic's phone) with the name, the number and the reason word for word.
  4. If there's no appointment free, it puts them on the waiting list with priority: they'll be first in line for a cancellation.
A Monday with a full calendar
A patient writes at 8:15 in severe pain. There isn't a single appointment left. ClaudIA offers them the first hour of the next day, puts them on the waiting list with priority and alerts the team. At 11:00 an appointment is cancelled: ClaudIA offers that appointment to them before anyone else.
